Honey Buttermilk Bread (bread machine)

Servings 2 lb loaf

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water a little warmer then room temperature
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 3 T butter softened and cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast or 1 packet

Instructions

  1. Put the ingredients in the pan of your bread machine according to your machines instructions. My machine (Zojirush) calls for the following order:

  2. Put the water, buttermilk & honey in the pan.
  3. Dump the flour and salt in the pan next.
  4. Make a well in the flour and pour your yeast into the well.
  5. Snap the pan into the bread machine, select your loaf type (I use the Basic Bread, Medium Crust settinand press START!
